I have always enjoyed helping people and feel it is my personal purpose to do so.

I enjoy working at GrandView because we have a great group of people. In my free-time, I enjoy movies, gardening, basketball, swimming, fencing and flying kites.

Shanel Thompson, Pharmacist

Credentials:  Pharm.D., RPh
Education:  Ohio Northern University ‘14
Professional Experience:  GrandView 2 years and Retail 2.5 years

My personal purpose is to be light and salt to the world.

My passion for working with the elderly started with volunteering with my Mom for Meals On Wheels back in 4th grade. The older generation has held a special place in my heart since then.

I enjoy working at GrandView because the people I work with are so great.

I enjoy coaching vocals and singing with my church – really anything musical is great. I also like playing board games, camping, and going to Comic conventions with my husband.

Jessica Sinsheimer, Staff Pharmacist

Professional Experience:  Walmart Pharmacy 3.5 years, Carepoint Pharmacy for 2.5 years, CVS Specialty Pharmacy IVIG Pharmacist for 6 months

I am very close with my grandparents, especially with my mom’s mom. I think it’s important to think of every patient as if they were my own grandparent. This helps me put a face to our patients and helps me give the best care possible.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at GrandView. I love that I get to be a little more clinical, working with the nurses and doctors as a team. I feel that they truly take what I have to say to heart and I get to make a difference. This isn’t always the case in other pharmacy settings.

I spend most of my time with my almost 2 year old daughter, Edie, and my husband of 7 years. We are total foodies and love trying new restaurants!
