Professional Experiences: 11 years with GrandView Pharmacy
My personal purpose is to follow the path God has set before me. My passion for the elderly comes from caring for my grandparents as they have aged and caring for my father as his health declines. I enjoy working at Grandview because family comes first. I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 2 year old son, and preparing for our baby girl due this Spring.
Lexi McCord, Pharmacy Technician
Education: Went to Vincennes University graduated in 2012 with a degree in pharmacy tech
Professional Experiences: Grew up in a medical family. Grandpa is doctor and my sister works with health care as well. I have worked as a pharmacy tech since 2012. And I love the love medical field.
My personal purpose is to become a better tech and to better myself in growth with the company. I have always loved being around elderly. I love to take care of their needs and wants. It’s all about taking care of loved ones. I hate seeing love ones suffer and I put myself in family member’s shoes because if that was my loved one, I wouldn’t want them to suffer. I enjoy working at GrandView because I love the way people are towards you. I like how well everyone gets along. It is like working for one big happy family. I love that GrandView is Christian orientated. I enjoy spending time with my family, my nieces and nephew and spending time with my sister in her hometown of Orlando, Florida. As well as being on the beach, hunting, fishing or just relaxing.

My personal purpose is to live simply, love generously, learn constantly and give back. I enjoy the friendships I have been able to make with my co-workers. I enjoy crafts of any kind, decorating my house and traveling.

Professional Experiences: I have been working in the pharmacy field for 6 years now with previous experiences in both retail and hospital settings.
I have always liked helping people/animals, whether it’s when they are struggling with a task and lending a hand, or helping them feel better when they are sick. I have also been incredibly interested in medicine my whole life, and love learning about it. Due to my love for medicine and caring for people, I eventually want to become a Pharmacist, so I can help treat and cure others at a more professional level.
I think both of my parents made me understand this at a young age. Elders are people who are very wise and need to be respected and if you take the time to listen to what they have to say, you could learn quite a bit from. I think it’s very important that they are given the best care possible. Most of the time, the elderly are in the facilities that we provide for because they no longer can do simple tasks on their own. Since I can’t be there directly to lend a hand to those who need it, I chose to help indirectly, providing medicine to help them feel better, thus allowing them to do more things on their own. I enjoy working for GrandView Pharmacy because you can tell they care about their residents and their employees. My hobbies include: reading, watching movies, hanging out with my neice Syndell, and loving on my huskies Maya and Silas.
