I feel the purpose for my life is to serve others and to be an example for Christ. As my own grandparents age, my passion for working with the elderly has grown. I try to review and manage our residents’ medications with the same level of intensity I would for my own grandparents. Grandview has allowed me to remain active in my profession and to keep current with continuing education while still allowing me time to care for my family. When I get a chance, I enjoy playing the piano and would like to get involved with music again. My children are very young; I enjoy watching them learn and grow every day. I also enjoy staying active with my church family.

My personal purpose is to be a positive influence in the lives of others. My passion for working with the elderly came from seeing my grandmother decline, and finally succumb, to Alzheimer’s dementia. I enjoy working at GrandView, because it allows me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our greatest generation. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family.

My personal purpose is to serve God as best I can by utilizing the skills and the opportunities He gives me. My passion for the elderly came from seeing my grandfather as a community pharmacist, and I was able to grow up and watch him as he worked. He developed many great relationships with those who came to him, and I’ve always wanted to have similarly strong relationships. My heart reaches out to neglected populations, and the elderly are among the foremost of the neglected. When I was young, I would go to the pharmacy with my mother. I would see my grandpa, my aunt, and my uncle all working together. I would run to the pharmacy counter, step inside, and then run to my grandpa. He would scoop me up in his arms, ask me whose boy I was, and sit me on the counter. I love my family, and my family is Grandview. In my spare time I enjoy singing, Purdue sports, preaching, and spending time with family.

My personal purpose is to make this world a little better each day. I have a passion for the elderly, because this is our most vulnerable population and I try my best to take care of them with the knowledge I have gained from my excellent education and various pharmacy experiences. I enjoy working at GrandView, because my work is different every day and I have the opportunity to work with great people. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two kids, stand up paddle boarding with my wife, hunting, fishing, soccer, traveling, and of course UK Basketball.
